Figure 01: Visualisation of the location - Germany
Germany officially the Federal Republic of Germany is a country in central and western Europe, covering an area of 357,022 square kilometers. It borders Denmark to the north, Poland and the Czech Republic to east, Austria and Switzerland to the south and France, Belgium and the Netherlands to the west.Germany’s climate is moderate and has generally no longer periods of cold or hot weather. Northern western and Coastal Germany have a maritime influenced climate which is characterized by warm summer and mild cloudily winter.German states and the federal government have reached an agreement on more targeted measures to address localized outbreaks of Corona virus. One significant change is that entire districts will no longer be required to lockdown in the case of a localized outbreak, while quarantine and lockdown measures will be tightly limited to only targeted hotspots.Due to the Corona virus crisis the German government has reduced the threshold for the minimum number of employees who have to work short-time from 30% to 10%.Overall Global Health Security index of Germany is 66. Germany ranked at 14th among global health security capabilities in 195 countries.

Table 14: Summary of Coronavirus data - China
Figure 21: Time series plot of Recovered Cases - Germany vs China
In Figure 21, China started out with very recovered rate. But from March onwards the recovered rate has fallen stedily.
Figure 22: Time series plot of Death Cases - Germany vs China
In Figure 22, China started out with a very high death rate when compared with Germany and China has managed to reduce it drastically within few months of coronavirus outbreak except very high daily death cases in mid April.
Figure 23: Time series plot of Confirmed Cases - Germany vs China
In Figure 23, China started out with a very high confirmed rate when compared with Germany and China has managed to reduce it drastically within few months of coronavirus outbreak.
This results give the indication of the corona virus transmitted rapidly. In terms of the spread of coronavirus, initially Germany has constantly recorded high daily death, confirmed and acutal cases. According to Figure 02 and Figure 07 number of daily death, confirmed and actual cases are not only high but have been rising from day 1. Positive fact is that recovered cases are also going up. when compared with Austria and Frace, Germany has the highest number of death, active and confirm cases. However Germany has been on the decline of all the cases starting from May due to rapid control and responses by the German government.
When Germany compared with China, Germany has relatively high deaths and confirmed cases after month of May. However figure 21, 22 and 23 indicated that it was only because coronavirus outbreak started late in Germany. On the other hand in China ,there were an initial period when cases were rising. However from march onwards the death rate in China has fallen steadily. But deaths and confirmed cases in US has risen dramatically. Finally it’s clear that daily cases are coming down, but not for US.
One of the problems with comparing contries is that many of them report deaths in different ways. There have also been questions over whether official data from some contries can be trusted. Another issue is that contries could be at different stage of an outbreak. Here in this coronavirus package in R, there were some negetive values too. Updating false cases, error in counting and different reporting methodologies could be the reasons for that. In this report all the plots were drawn by excluding negetive values.
Finally we can conclude that comparing Germany, Austria, US and China, China is the best in terms of tackling corona virus outbreak. Because it has the outbreak for the longest duration, but has manage to limit the case count the most.
